Academia
ARI is an active supporter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and the Institute for the Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP). Through the AITP, ARI works to help educators develop and maintain relevant curriculum and case studies in systems analysis and design, business process analysis, enterprise architecture, modeling based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and management sciences. ARI also supports work-study projects that provide students hands-on experience working with on real-world Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects. Through the ICCP, ARI promotes independent, third-party assessment of graduating students and professional practitioners.
Industry
ARI works with industry to develop Open Standards in enterprise architecture frameworks and in program and project management using frameworks and business process workflows. ARI has developed a number of management and architectural frameworks based on proven methodologies including PENG Analysis, Petri-Net Workflow Analysis, Critical Path Method (CPM), and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). ARI also coordinates student and client employee project work with real-world projects to provide hands-on experience in managing complex enterprise projects. ARI also provides support for new venture start-ups.
Government
ARI is active in the government sector providing ICT advise, support, and economic development assistance for both developed and developing countries. ARI also supports a volunteer and subsidized consulting pool to assist developing nations tackle complex ICT projects.
